The upcoming iQOO 15 is set to debut in India soon, bringing significant upgrades over its predecessor, the iQOO 13. The new flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will mark the first iQOO phone to feature wireless charging, a major enhancement for users who prefer cable-free convenience.
According to recent updates from iQOO executives and social media posts on Weibo, the iQOO 15 will come with a large seven-cell Blue Ocean battery and Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0 technology. This new setup will allow extended usage for gaming, video streaming, and navigation while preserving battery health and prolonging lifespan.
The iQOO 15 is expected to launch in India by November 2025. Reports suggest the handset could be priced between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 65,000, which is slightly higher than last year’s iQOO 13 that debuted at Rs. 54,999.
On the design and specifications front, the iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch Samsung display with 2K resolution (3,168×1,440 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device might also integrate a proprietary Q3 chip alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for enhanced performance.
Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a Leica-tuned triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, promising crisp and detailed shots. The phone will also support 100W wired fast charging in addition to the new wireless charging capability.
With these upgrades, the iQOO 15 is positioned as a premium flagship smartphone that blends powerful performance, advanced camera technology, and modern charging solutions, making it a strong competitor in India’s high-end smartphone segment.
