The highly anticipated iQOO 15 is set to launch in China on October 20, and an unboxing video has already revealed the device’s design and key specifications. The Legend Edition features a flat back panel with LED accents surrounding the rear camera module, a punch-hole display, metallic edges, and a tactile three-dimensional texture highlighting the iQOO and BMW logos. The power button and volume controls are positioned on the right side, while the bottom houses a USB-C port, speaker, microphone, and SIM card slot.
iQOO has introduced the Q3 gaming GPU, developed entirely in-house, designed to enhance the smartphone’s gaming performance. The chip supports 2K resolution and up to 144fps, delivering smooth, console-like visuals through the QNSS super rendering engine. This combination enables features such as full-scene ray tracing, super resolution upscaling, and ultra-frame rendering for an immersive gaming experience. The GPU and main processor are said to improve device performance by 60 percent, power efficiency by 40 percent, memory optimization by 50 percent, and AI computation by 400 percent.
The unboxing video also confirmed 100W fast charging support, ensuring rapid power top-ups. iQOO tested the chipset with CrossFire: Gunfight King, achieving an average frame rate of 143.76fps, minimal frame variance, and maintaining a device temperature of 43.6°C after an hour of gameplay.
The iQOO 15, with its advanced gaming hardware, premium design, and BMW-inspired aesthetics, is positioned as a high-performance smartphone for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.
