Comedian Jordan Jensen is set to make her Netflix debut with her very first hour-long comedy special titled Take Me With You, releasing worldwide on September 9, 2025. The special is directed by Eric Abrams, who is known for his work on Ari Shaffir’s Jew and Ralph Barbosa’s Cowabunga.
The show captures Jensen’s witty and bold perspective on femininity, self-love contradictions, and the raw realities of everyday life. Sharing her thoughts on the project, Jensen said, “Being a person is humiliating and grotesque. I’m not sure why we are all pretending it’s adorable or palatable in any way.”
Behind the Scenes
The special is produced by Matt Schuler, with Alex Brizel and Brian Stern from AGI Entertainment Media & Management serving as executive producers. Director Abrams praised Jensen’s approach to comedy, describing her as honest, relentless, and hilariously original. He further highlighted the depth of her intelligence, noting how her sharp wit is blended with substance and storytelling that hits harder than expected.
From New York Roots to Netflix Stage
Jordan Jensen’s comedy journey began in upstate New York before she moved to Nashville, where she sharpened her skills performing in clubs and traveling in her pickup truck. Currently based in Brooklyn, Jensen has headlined sold-out shows across the United States and toured alongside big names like Tom Segura and Louis C.K.
Her achievements include the YouTube feature 30 Minutes with Jordan Jensen, her self-produced short special Death Chunk, and co-hosting the podcast Bein’ Ian with Jordan with comic Ian Fidance. She also runs her own show RIP Jordan Jensen. Notably, in 2021, she became the first woman to win NY’s Funniest Stand Up at the New York Comedy Festival.
This fall, audiences will also see Jensen in Bradley Cooper’s Searchlight film Is This Thing On?, premiering at the New York Film Festival. With representation from AGI Entertainment Media & Management, WME, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes, Jordan Jensen is carving her place among the most exciting new voices in comedy.
