Ingredients
- 400 gms Raw Banana
- 40 gms Varai (Sama Rice)
- 100 gms Boiled Grated Potato
- 20 gms Peanut
- 4 gms Amchur Powder
- 2 Green Chilies
- Oil for frying
- Rock Salt to taste
For the Sauce:
- 120 gms Curd
- 20 gms Sugar
- 10 gms Crushed Peanut
- 15 gms Grated Cucumber
Method
- Boil the raw bananas with skin on for 10-12 minutes until soft. Let them cool, peel, and grate.
- Roast the peanuts, remove the skin, and grind into a coarse mixture.
- In a bowl, combine the boiled grated potato, chopped green chilies, crushed peanuts, amchur powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and flatten them into small patties. Wrap each patty with Varai (sama rice).
- Heat oil on medium flame and fry the tikkis until golden and crisp. Serve hot.
For the Sauce:
- Mix curd, sugar, crushed peanuts, and grated cucumber until smooth. Serve alongside the tikkis for a refreshing accompaniment.
