Step-by-Step Method to Make Keerai Vadai
- Soak chana dal and toor dal together in water for about 1 hour. Drain and keep aside for another hour.
- Grind one-third of the soaked dal with green chillies, ginger, fennel seeds, coriander leaves, and salt into a coarse paste. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Grind the remaining dal without water to maintain a coarse texture. Add this to the first batch of ground mixture.
- Mix in chopped spinach and curry leaves to form a thick dough-like mixture.
