Kim Kardashian has expressed her frustration after narrowly missing the passing mark on her latest attempt at the California Bar Exam. The reality star, who took the test in July 2025, reportedly failed by a slim margin and later took aim at psychics who had assured her of success this time.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Kim vented her disappointment in a behind-the-scenes clip filmed before her mother Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration. While getting ready for the event, the Skims founder jokingly lashed out at the fortune-tellers who told her she would pass with ease. “All the psychics we’ve talked to are full of lies,” she said, adding that several had confidently told her she’d succeed. “They’re all pathological liars,” Kim added.
Despite her frustration, Kim remains determined to achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer. She shared on Instagram that she was “so close to passing” and reaffirmed her dedication to try again. “No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination,” she wrote.
The 45-year-old mother of four has been pursuing her law career for six years, balancing her studies with her business and family commitments. She graduated from law school earlier in 2025 and has made it clear that she won’t stop until she earns her license to practice law. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. Falling short isn’t failure — it’s fuel,” she added.
Data from USA Today shows that only 53.8 percent of candidates passed the California Bar Exam in July and February 2024, highlighting the exam’s difficulty. The next test session is scheduled for February 2026, and Kim’s fans will be watching closely as she makes her next attempt.
