The upcoming Lava Agni 4 5G has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, indicating that the smartphone is gearing up for its India launch next month. The handset, spotted with the model number LXX525, marks the next major addition to Lava’s Agni lineup, succeeding last year’s Lava Agni 3.
Expected to arrive in November, the Lava Agni 4 5G is rumored to pack impressive upgrades over its predecessor, including a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a massive 7,000mAh battery for extended use. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a dual 50MP rear camera setup, offering improved imaging performance.
According to leaks, the BIS listing was uploaded on September 15, confirming that production and testing are underway. While Lava has not yet revealed the exact launch date or all specifications, reports suggest that the Agni 4 5G will be priced at around Rs. 25,000 in India, making it a strong competitor in the mid-range 5G smartphone category.
Design-wise, Lava recently teased the Agni 4 in a sleek black color variant featuring a horizontally aligned camera module. It is also expected to run on the latest version of Android and come with UFS 4.0 storage for faster performance and app loading.
The Lava Agni 3, launched in October 2024, was well-received for its AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300X chipset, and 66W fast charging support. The upcoming model aims to build upon that success with bigger battery life, enhanced display quality, and a modern design approach.
With the BIS certification now confirmed, the Lava Agni 4 5G appears ready for an imminent debut in India, promising to deliver powerful performance, premium design, and strong 5G connectivity at an affordable price point.
