Lava has officially unveiled the Lava Play Ultra 5G smartphone in India, bringing high-end specifications and 5G connectivity at an affordable price. The handset will go on sale via Amazon India starting August 25, 2025, offering buyers an opportunity to experience cutting-edge performance and AMOLED display technology.
The Lava Play Ultra 5G sports a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp visuals with full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the phone comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance and fast app loading.
Photography enthusiasts will enjoy the dual rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The device also includes a 13-megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies. The Lava Play Ultra 5G supports multiple photography modes including Night Mode, HDR, Portrait, Beauty, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Filters, Pro Mode, AR Sticker, and Macro photography.

Expected Price in India: The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs. 16,499. During launch promotions, buyers can avail Rs. 1,000 discount on ICICI, SBI, and HDFC cards, making the discounted prices Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,499, respectively.
