Lava is gearing up to launch its next-generation smartphone, the Lava Shark 2, in India, succeeding the Lava Shark 5G. Ahead of its debut, the company has revealed key details about the phone’s design, camera setup, and colour options.
The Lava Shark 2 will be available in two sleek colourways—black and silver—with a glossy rear finish that highlights a square camera island on the top-left corner, similar to the Lava Bold N1 Pro 5G. Branding is located at the bottom of the back panel, while the camera module features three lenses with AI capabilities and a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by an LED flash.
On the sides, the power and volume buttons are located on the right, while the SIM tray sits on the left. The bottom houses a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grille, catering to both connectivity and audio preferences.
The Lava Shark 2 is expected to enhance the features of its predecessor, which offered a 6.75-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, a dual 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. While specific technical details for the Shark 2 are yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated to offer upgraded performance, a refined display, and advanced AI camera functions.
Lava Mobiles has not yet announced the official launch date, but teasers indicate that more information regarding specifications and pricing will be revealed shortly.
