Lori Harvey is set to make a striking appearance in the upcoming third season of Hulu’s legal drama Reasonable Doubt, taking on the role of Chelsea—an “unpredictable force with a troubled past” who will challenge the lead character Jax Stewart in unexpected ways. Known as a model and entrepreneur, Harvey previously appeared in the crime drama miniseries Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
The series, created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, is produced under the Onyx Collective banner and distributed by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios. Harvey will join an ensemble cast that includes Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, and Joseph Sikora, along with several new faces this season such as Brandee Evans, Rumer Willis, Richard Brooks, Keith Arthur Bolden, April Parker Jones, and Kyle Bary.
Harvey’s character Chelsea is described as someone whose unpredictable nature and troubled history will push Stewart (played by Corinealdi) into high-stakes challenges. The storyline will see Jax Stewart, a Los Angeles-based criminal defense lawyer, navigating professional obstacles while managing her separation from husband Lewis Stewart (McKinley Freeman) and raising their two children.
The new season comes after Jax fought to save her best friend from a life sentence while dealing with the aftermath of a dangerous affair. Now, her life has settled into a rare moment of calm—until a former child star with deep troubles enters her professional world. When her client’s personal turmoil mirrors a Hollywood drama and a charismatic associate threatens her career, Jax must clear her client’s name without losing the hard-earned stability in her life.
First premiering in September 2022, Reasonable Doubt gained quick traction and returned for a second season in August 2024. Season 3 is set to premiere next month, promising intense drama, legal twists, and fresh conflicts that will keep viewers hooked.
