Veteran musician Lucky Ali has shared his thoughts on Arijit Singh’s decision to stop taking new playback singing assignments. Speaking in an interview Lucky Ali expressed strong support for the move stating that such a choice usually comes from deep personal reflection. According to him something significant must have changed internally for Arijit Singh to step away from the system he was previously part of.
Lucky Ali explained that Arijit’s decision should not be viewed as a loss to music. He believes the singer will continue to perform and express himself creatively but on his own terms rather than within earlier industry conditions. Drawing parallels from his own career Lucky Ali said that artists often need to carve their own path even if it means stepping away from mainstream structures.
Reflecting on his journey Lucky Ali said that the music industry rarely offers easy opportunities. He shared that artists must stand firmly by their creative beliefs and push forward despite challenges. While the journey becomes slightly smoother after initial hurdles it never truly becomes effortless.
Arijit Singh surprised fans in January when he announced through social media that he would no longer accept new playback singing projects. Thanking listeners for their love over the years Arijit described his journey as fulfilling while confirming his decision to move on from playback work.
