Several well-known tourist attractions across Dubai have temporarily shut their doors following safety measures announced over the weekend. Authorities and attraction operators have taken these steps to prioritize the safety of visitors and staff amid the ongoing situation affecting parts of the UAE.

One of the most notable closures is Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel located on Bluewaters Island. The attraction remained closed to visitors on Saturday March 7 and Sunday March 8. Guests who already booked tickets for upcoming dates are being advised to check the official website before planning their visit, as schedules may change depending on further updates.

Another major leisure destination affected by the precautionary measures is Dubai Parks and Resorts. The entertainment complex, which features Real Madrid World, LEGOLAND Dubai, Motiongate Dubai, and Riverland Dubai, confirmed that all parks were closed on March 7 and March 8 as a precautionary measure following official guidance.

Meanwhile, Dubai Festival City Mall continues to operate its retail outlets and restaurants as usual. Visitors can still enjoy the mall’s popular waterfront attractions, including the evening water and light show. However, the special Ramadan drone display that had been scheduled to take place daily has been postponed until further notice.

Elsewhere, Global Village, one of the city’s most popular seasonal attractions, extended its closure. Initially shut on March 1, the destination confirmed that it would remain closed until at least Sunday March 8 as a precautionary step aligned with official safety guidance.

Visitors planning trips to Dubai attractions over the coming days are encouraged to monitor official announcements and check attraction websites before travelling, as reopening dates may change depending on the situation.
