Marvel Animation is gearing up to immerse fans once again in the mystical world of Wakanda with its newest animated series, Eyes of Wakanda, which is now scheduled to premiere on August 1 exclusively on Disney+. Originally set for release on August 6, the series has been moved up, building anticipation among Marvel enthusiasts across the globe.

The four-episode series is spearheaded by Ryan Coogler, the visionary director behind Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, who takes the role of executive producer. This project is part of his broader collaboration with The Walt Disney Company under his Proximity production banner.

Created by Todd Harris, who has previously contributed as a storyboard artist for the Black Panther films, Eyes of Wakanda will follow the secretive and elite Wakandan warrior group, Hatut Zeraze, as they venture across the globe on daring missions to retrieve powerful Vibranium artifacts. Each episode is set in a different era and location, blending history, action, and mythology from the Marvel universe.

The recently released trailer showcases thrilling scenes where the Hatut Zeraze warriors engage in dangerous journeys, confront enemies, and risk their lives to safeguard Wakanda’s most precious metal—Vibranium. Their covert missions unfold in various global landscapes, expanding the Marvel storytelling universe with fresh depth and cultural richness.

The voice cast for Eyes of Wakanda features an impressive lineup including Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, and Adam Gold. Other notable voices include Lynn Whitfield, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Gary Anthony Williams, Steve Toussaint, Zeke Alton, and Anika Noni Rose.

Serving as both director and executive producer, Harris brings his storytelling expertise to the forefront of the Marvel Animation world. The show marks Marvel’s continued effort to expand the legacy of Wakanda and offer fans new narratives that connect back to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which introduced new realms like Atlantis and brought back beloved characters such as Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman.

With its global scope, gripping action, and a legacy-rich storyline, Eyes of Wakanda is not just another Marvel spinoff—it is a deep dive into the untold history of Wakanda, destined to captivate fans worldwide.
