Dubai is set to welcome a groundbreaking new district powered by charitable vision and large-scale development. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has revealed plans for a transformative neighbourhood designed to fuel global humanitarian and educational initiatives.
Called the Mohammed bin Rashid Endowment District, the project carries an estimated value of Dhs4.7 billion and aims to support essential causes across the world through a sustainable charitable model.
The community will feature a fully equipped hospital expected to serve 90,000 patients annually, alongside a medical university, schools with capacity for over 5,000 students, and 2,000 residential units to house future residents. Additional commercial shops, a lively boulevard, and dedicated green spaces will form key parts of the vibrant neighbourhood layout.
The development will be executed by Azizi Developments, the company also responsible for the iconic Burj Azizi. The innovative plan reinforces Sheikh Mohammed’s mission to ensure Dubai remains a global hub of generosity, innovation, and service to humanity.
Sharing the announcement on his official X account, Sheikh Mohammed stated that the returns generated from this endowment will be directed toward international healthcare and educational advancement. He expressed deep gratitude to all partners and contributors working toward sustaining charitable efforts that reflect the UAE’s values of compassion and giving.
Once completed, the MBR Endowment District will not only shape Dubai’s evolving skyline but will also become a symbol of hope for communities benefiting from its humanitarian impact worldwide.
