Microsoft has officially announced the prices for its upcoming ROG Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally handheld gaming devices ahead of their global release on October 16, 2025. The premium ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at $999.99 in the US, while the standard ROG Xbox Ally will retail for $599.99. Pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally X have already sold out worldwide, highlighting strong consumer demand.
Both devices are powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 series chips and run Windows 11 with Microsoft’s new Xbox full-screen experience, allowing seamless PC gaming across platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox App on Windows. The ROG Xbox Ally X features 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, while the Xbox Ally comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Players can also access their Xbox console libraries via Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Pre-orders are available through the Xbox store, Microsoft Store, ASUS eShop, and select retailers in markets such as Australia, UK, UAE, US, Japan, Germany, France, India, Brazil, China, and more. Both handhelds include three months of Xbox Game Pass for instant access to a library of games.
