Microsoft has officially confirmed the prices for its ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, set to launch globally on October 16, 2025. Pre-orders for the high-end ROG Xbox Ally X are already sold out due to overwhelming demand, while the standard ROG Xbox Ally is also available for pre-order in multiple regions.
The ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at $999.99 in the US, featuring the powerful AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB RAM, and 1TB storage. Meanwhile, the standard ROG Xbox Ally will cost $599.99, equipped with the Ryzen Z2 chip, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Both devices run Windows 11 with Microsoft’s new Xbox full-screen experience, offering a seamless gaming interface while allowing background Windows processes to run efficiently.
Pre-orders are currently open in key markets including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, UK, USA, Vietnam, and additional confirmed markets in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Slovenia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ukraine. Additional regions including India, Brazil, China, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Philippines, and Switzerland will receive the handhelds at a later date.
Both handhelds support native PC gaming across platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox App, along with Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players to access their console game libraries on the go. Each device also comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass, giving gamers instant access to a wide range of titles.
