Stranger Things actor David Harbour is facing a wave of serious allegations at a crucial moment in his career. As the hit Netflix show approaches its highly anticipated fifth and final season actor Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly filed a formal complaint accusing Harbour of harassment and bullying during production. This new development comes shortly after Harbour’s former wife Lily Allen publicly alleged his infidelity adding to the actor’s mounting off screen troubles.
According to a report by The Mail on Sunday Millie Bobby Brown now 21 submitted extensive documentation outlining alleged misconduct by Harbour before filming for the new season began. Sources claim that the complaint sparked a lengthy internal investigation which continued for months though the findings have not been released. It has been confirmed that Brown’s accusations do not involve any sexual misconduct while Netflix has declined to provide any official comment.
At the same time Harbour’s personal life is also making headlines. British singer Lily Allen who was married to Harbour until their recent split took aim at him in her new album West End Girl released on October 24 2025. Lyrics across multiple songs hint at betrayal emotional turmoil and alleged affairs during their marriage. Reports suggest Allen believes Harbour cheated with a costume designer named Natalie Tippett who previously worked with him on the Netflix film We Have a Ghost.
Allen’s music references themes of heartbreak open marriage boundaries and alleged controlling behaviour leaving fans speculating how much is based on real events. She later stated that while much of the album is inspired by her experiences not every detail should be interpreted literally.
Despite the controversies surrounding Harbour Netflix is moving ahead with Stranger Things Season 5. The second part of the final season is set to premiere on December 25 and audiences are now as drawn to the unfolding real life drama as they are to the final chapter of the beloved sci fi storyline.
