Motorola appears ready to launch the Moto G56 as the anticipated follow-up to the Moto G55. While there has been no official word from the company, recently leaked renders have surfaced online, showcasing the device’s aesthetic and expected specifications. These visuals suggest that the new model will maintain a design language similar to its predecessor, featuring modest bezels, a centered hole-punch display, and a dual rear camera setup that resembles the Motorola Edge series.
According to the leaked images from Dutch publication Nieuwemobiel, the Moto G56 will come in four stylish Pantone-inspired shades — Black Oyster, Dazzling Blue, Gray Mist, and Dill (green). The renders reveal a flat rear panel housing the dual-camera system and the brand’s subtle logo branding. A notable change is the more refined camera module design which seems to align with Motorola’s premium smartphone aesthetic.
The Moto G56 is expected to boast a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and protection from Gorilla Glass 7i. Internally, the device is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, the dual rear setup is tipped to include a 50MP primary sensor, reportedly Sony’s LYT-600, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is expected.
Additional features may include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, enhancing its durability. The handset is also rumored to carry a substantial 5,200mAh battery, supported by 33W wired fast charging, catering to users who prioritize battery longevity and quick top-ups.
The Moto G56 is likely to be priced at around EUR 250, which translates to approximately ₹23,700 in India for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Although the official release date has yet to be confirmed, the leaks indicate that Motorola is preparing to bring a balanced mix of style, performance, and affordability with its latest addition to the G series lineup.
