The Motorola Edge 2025 is generating buzz as fresh design renders have appeared online, hinting at the next big smartphone from the brand. Though the company has yet to officially confirm the device, early leaks suggest the Motorola Edge 2025 will carry forward several design cues from its predecessor while introducing key upgrades.
According to renders shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the upcoming Motorola Edge 2025 will sport a curved display with ultra-thin bezels and a centrally placed hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera. This design continues the sleek and premium aesthetics seen in the Motorola Edge 2024, which launched globally in June 2024.
A notable feature visible in the renders is the inclusion of a customizable Quick Button on the left edge of the handset. This button, which also appeared on the Edge 2024, allows users to quickly launch apps or execute in-app functions with a single tap. Meanwhile, the right side of the phone houses the power and volume buttons for easy access.
The rear design sees a significant upgrade. The Motorola Edge 2025 appears to be equipped with a triple rear camera setup, neatly placed in a slightly raised square-shaped camera module. This is a departure from the dual camera layout of the Motorola Edge 2024, which offered a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The new triple-lens system could signal major improvements in photography capabilities.
The back panel is seen in a premium dark green vegan leather finish, giving the smartphone a refined and stylish look. While specific hardware specs are not confirmed yet, the device is expected to retain the curved full HD+ pOLED screen seen in the Edge 2024. Last year’s model was powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, supported by a 5,000mAh battery, and came with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
The Motorola Edge 2024 launched in the US at a price of $549.99 (approximately Rs. 45,900) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It is yet to be seen whether the 2025 edition will follow a similar pricing structure or introduce additional variants with enhanced performance and features.
With these early leaks painting an exciting picture, the official launch of the Motorola Edge 2025 is eagerly awaited by fans and tech enthusiasts alike.
