Motorola has officially scheduled the India debut of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion with the smartphone set to launch on March 6 shortly after MWC 2026. The announcement was shared via the company’s social media channels and the device will be available for purchase through Flipkart following its unveiling.
The upcoming handset has already generated buzz thanks to a dedicated microsite revealing key specifications design elements and colour options. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will arrive in three Pantone curated shades named Silhouette Blue Surf and Country Air. Each variant is said to feature a leather inspired textured rear panel giving the device a premium in hand feel.
In terms of configurations the smartphone will be offered in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and a higher end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option. Pricing details have not yet been officially announced.
Camera capabilities appear to be a major highlight. The Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 710 primary sensor which the company claims is a first in the segment. It will be accompanied by a 13 megapixel ultra wide camera and a macro sensor. For selfies and video calls the device will include a 32 megapixel front camera housed in a punch hole display. The phone is also expected to support 4K video recording.
Under the hood the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with a large 7000mAh silicon carbon battery supporting 68W wired fast charging. On the front users will get a quad curved 1.5K display offering up to 144Hz refresh rate peak brightness of 5200 nits SGS eye protection certification 96.2 percent screen to body ratio and HDR10 plus support.
With a powerful battery advanced camera hardware and high refresh rate display the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is shaping up to be a competitive mid range smartphone option in India.
