Motorola is reportedly preparing a luxurious variant of its popular Edge 70 smartphone with a new Swarovski edition. The device is rumored to feature a premium Cloud Dancer finish, incorporating vegan leather on the back panel adorned with 14 Swarovski crystals. Early leaks suggest the phone will maintain the same core specifications as the standard Motorola Edge 70, which debuted globally last month as the international counterpart of the Motorola X70 Air available in China. The standard model comes in Bronze Green, Gadget Grey, and Lilly Pad color options, and the new Swarovski edition is expected to expand this lineup.
The leaked promotional image, shared by tipster Evan Blass on X, showcases a soft off-white design, with a silver frame engraved with “PANTONE Cloud Dancer” along the left edge. This will mark Motorola’s second Swarovski-themed product, following previous editions of the Razr 60 and Moto Buds Loop earbuds. While pricing details are not yet confirmed, the standard Edge 70 is priced around GBP 700 (approximately Rs. 80,000) in the UK.
The luxury variant is expected to retain the technical specifications of the standard Edge 70, including a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2712×1220 pixel resolution, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device runs on Android 16 with a promise of four major OS upgrades, and is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Camera features include dual 50-megapixel rear sensors and a 50-megapixel front camera. Connectivity and usability features include Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, a 4,800mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, as well as IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
