Motorola is preparing to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr 60, which is expected to bring notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Motorola Razr 50. While the official launch date has not yet been confirmed, early renders and specifications have surfaced online, giving insight into what to expect from this upcoming device.
According to Xpertpick, the Motorola Razr 60 will be available in three color options, namely Pantone Gibraltar Sea (Blue), Pantone Lightest Sky (Cream), and Spring Bud (Green). The design appears to closely resemble the Motorola Razr 50, featuring a hole-punch cutout on the main display and dual rear cameras positioned on the outer cover screen. Additionally, the back panel is rumored to have a leather-textured finish, with Razr branding placed at the bottom.
Leaked Specifications of Motorola Razr 60
The Motorola Razr 60 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Pantone-validated pOLED HDR10 inner display, which is slightly smaller than the 6.9-inch screen on its predecessor. Powering the device will likely be the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, providing a smooth and efficient performance boost over the Dimensity 7300X processor used in the Razr 50.
For photography, the Motorola Razr 60 is expected to house a dual-camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. The front camera is said to be a 32-megapixel shooter, making it suitable for high-quality selfies and video calls. Additionally, the device is rumored to carry an IP48-rated build, offering improved water and dust resistance compared to its predecessor’s IPX8 rating.
One of the major hardware upgrades is the 4,500mAh battery, which will support 30W fast charging. This marks an improvement over the 4,200mAh battery found in the Motorola Razr 50. Other expected features include Moto AI capabilities and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
