The upcoming Motorola Razr 70 has surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform, revealing several important specifications and suggesting that the foldable handset could launch soon. The device was also recently listed on the UAE’s TDRA certification database, hinting that the company may be preparing for both Chinese and global releases in the near future.
According to the TENAA listing, the smartphone carrying model number XT2657-8 is widely believed to be the Motorola Razr 70. The listing indicates that the device will likely keep many of the core features seen in the previous Motorola Razr 60, which debuted in 2025.
In terms of display, the Razr 70 is expected to feature a large 6.9-inch OLED main screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. The foldable phone may also include a 3.63-inch cover display with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels. These display specifications appear identical to those offered on the Razr 60, suggesting Motorola may focus on internal performance improvements rather than design changes.
The TENAA listing also reveals that the handset could run on an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.75GHz. This chipset appears slightly faster than the 2.6GHz MediaTek Dimensity 7400X used in the Razr 60. The new model is expected to offer multiple RAM configurations including 8GB 12GB 16GB and even 18GB, providing users with more performance options.
Storage capacity may also see a major upgrade. While the Razr 60 offers up to 256GB of internal storage, the Razr 70 could be available in variants reaching up to 1TB, allowing users to store significantly more apps photos and videos.
Camera capabilities may also be improved. The TENAA database suggests that the Razr 70 will feature a dual rear camera system with two 50-megapixel sensors. This would mark a change from the Razr 60 which included a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the new foldable is expected to keep a 32-megapixel selfie camera similar to its predecessor.
Battery details listed on TENAA show a rated capacity of 4,275mAh using a dual-cell design. This could translate to a typical battery capacity of around 4,500mAh, which is comparable to the Razr 60. In addition, the device will reportedly feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
As for the physical design, the Razr 70 appears nearly identical to the previous generation. The device measures 171.3 x 73.9 x 7.2mm and weighs approximately 188 grams, which closely matches the dimensions and weight of the Razr 60. With certifications now appearing in multiple regions, the official launch of the Razr 70 could take place later this month in China, with a wider international release expected soon after.
