Motorola India has officially confirmed the India launch of the highly anticipated Motorola Razr Fold, bringing its latest foldable flagship smartphone to the market on May 13. The premium device, first showcased globally during MWC 2026, is set to arrive with powerful hardware upgrades, advanced display technology, and stylish new colour options.
The foldable smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart, the official Motorola India website, and selected retail stores across the country. Motorola has also confirmed two elegant colour variants for Indian buyers — Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White.
The device will launch in two storage and memory configurations, including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and a higher-end 16GB RAM with 512GB storage option. In addition, Motorola plans to introduce a special FIFA World Cup 26 Edition featuring football-themed design elements for sports enthusiasts.
The Motorola Razr Fold comes equipped with a large 8.1-inch inner LTPO pOLED display offering 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, users get a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 6,000 nits. For durability, the outer screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 while the inner foldable screen uses Ultra Thin Glass protection.
Under the hood, the foldable smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, delivering flagship-level performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI-powered features. The phone runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s custom My UX interface.
Photography is another key highlight of the device. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary Sony LYTIA sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, the cover screen houses a 32MP front camera, while the internal display includes an additional 20MP selfie sensor.
The foldable device also features IP49-rated dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a massive 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
With its premium foldable design, advanced camera system, and flagship specifications, the Motorola Razr Fold is expected to compete strongly in India’s growing foldable smartphone market.
