Motorola is preparing to unveil complete details of its first book-style foldable the Motorola Razr Fold during MWC 2026 with a full announcement scheduled for March 2. After giving audiences an early look at the device during CES 2026 the company has now confirmed that specifications pricing and availability information will soon be officially disclosed.
The Razr Fold is positioned to compete directly with other premium foldables including the Honor Magic V6 as well as upcoming models from major smartphone brands. With competition heating up in the foldable segment Motorola appears ready to reassert its presence with a large display device designed for productivity and multimedia use.
Based on current information the Razr Fold features a sizable 8.1-inch LTPO inner display offering 2K resolution paired with a 6.6-inch external cover screen. The handset is expected to launch in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White finishes.
Photography is a key focus with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA primary sensor. The camera system also includes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls users get a 32-megapixel front camera on the outer screen along with a 20-megapixel shooter embedded within the internal display.
Motorola has also integrated AI-powered software features into the device and added support for stylus input via the Moto Pen Ultra enhancing its appeal for note-taking and creative tasks. The device is already listed on Motorola’s US website where users can register for launch updates and pre-order notifications.
With its large dual displays advanced camera hardware and stylus support the Motorola Razr Fold is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about foldables at MWC 2026 as it prepares to challenge rivals in the premium smartphone category.
