Motorola has officially confirmed the India launch date of its premium smartphone Motorola Signature bringing flagship-grade performance and luxury design to the Indian market. The smartphone which made its global debut earlier this month at CES 2026 will arrive in India on January 23 and will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart. Positioned as a high-end offering Motorola Signature is aimed at users seeking cutting-edge hardware refined aesthetics and immersive multimedia capabilities.
The upcoming Motorola Signature will be introduced in two Pantone-curated colour options offering a textured rear finish that enhances grip and visual appeal. Under the hood the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset delivering top-tier performance for gaming multitasking and AI-driven tasks. Motorola has confirmed that the handset will support up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage making it suitable for power users and content creators.
In terms of cameras Motorola Signature features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor. The camera system supports 3.5x optical zoom enabling detailed photography across various lighting conditions. The device also focuses heavily on audio and visual quality with Dolby Vision Dolby Atmos and Sound by Bose ensuring an enhanced entertainment experience.
The smartphone packs a 5200mAh silicon carbon battery and features an ultra-slim 6.99mm aluminium frame while maintaining a lightweight profile of approximately 186 grams. On the software front Motorola Signature runs Android 16 based Hello UI delivering a clean and smooth user experience. The phone sports a large 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Super HD resolution a 165Hz refresh rate peak brightness of up to 6200 nits and excellent pixel density for vibrant visuals.
Although Motorola has not officially announced the India pricing recent leaks suggest a box price of Rs 84999 for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant. However retail pricing is expected to be lower once official sales begin. Globally the smartphone launched at a starting price of EUR 899.99 making it a competitive flagship in the premium segment.
