On Viki, the drama has been a favorite among global audiences, achieving the highest weekly viewership among 2024 dramas. Byeon Woo Seok’s starrer became a sensation, reaching No.1 in viewership ratings in 130 regions during its sixth week of broadcast, according to Rakuten Viki.
Lovely Runner follows the story of Ryu Sun Jae, portrayed by Byeon Woo Seok, the lead vocalist of an imaginary boy group. This time slip drama, based on the web novel ‘The Best of Tomorrow’ by illustrator Doong Doong, focuses on Sun Jae’s romance with his devoted fan Im Sol, played by Kim Hye Yoon. After receiving tragic news of her idol’s suicide, Im Sol finds herself transported back in time, where she crosses paths with Sun Jae, giving them a chance to rewrite history.
