Disney+ announced its exciting lineup of Korean dramas set to premiere in 2025. Among these is “The Murky Stream” (also known as Taryu), which marks Rowoon’s return to the historical drama genre. This series promises a stellar cast, including Rowoon and Shin Ye Eun in the lead roles.

Rowoon, who has previously starred in historical dramas like “The King’s Affection” and “The Matchmakers,” will be joined by Shin Ye Eun, known for her roles in “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” and “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born.” The duo will portray Si Yool and Choi Eun, characters with contrasting backgrounds and paths.
