In a recent interview with E! News, Nick Jonas opened up about his wife, Priyanka Chopra, describing her as an ‘exceptional’ scene partner. During the conversation, Nick, who will soon be seen in The Good Half, also shared his thoughts on the film.
Nick expressed his admiration for Priyanka, noting how working with her has been a creative experience. When asked if Priyanka had given him any advice for his role, Nick responded by saying that he has an ‘exceptional’ scene partner at home, referring to Priyanka. He elaborated, “We don’t often work on scenes together, but we discuss characters. It’s wonderful to maintain that creative energy at home and then bring it into the professional space.”
The Good Half is a comedy-drama directed by Robert Schwartzman, featuring a stellar cast including Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh, and Elisabeth Shue. Priyanka had previously shared the film’s poster on her Instagram stories, expressing her excitement for its release and praising Nick’s performance.
Recently, Priyanka accompanied Nick to the premiere of The Good Half in Los Angeles, where she expressed her pride in Nick’s performance, stating on Instagram, “Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful poignant touching movie with incredible performances. I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in both Christian and Hindu ceremonies at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1 and 2 in 2018. In January 2022, they joyfully announced the arrival of their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, born via surrogacy.
In addition to The Bluff and Heads of State, Priyanka has recently completed filming The Bluff, which is set in the 19th-century Caribbean and tells the story of a former female pirate, played by Priyanka, who must protect her family as her past catches up with her. Directed by Frank E Flowers and featuring Karl Urban, the film is produced by Russo Brothers’ AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, promising an exciting adventure.
