Nick Jonas has shared how marrying Priyanka Chopra transformed his understanding of culture spirituality and family life introducing him to India and Hindu traditions that now play a central role in his home. The singer recently reflected on how these experiences have shaped his personal beliefs and the way he and Priyanka are bringing up their daughter Malti Marie in a multicultural and multi religious environment.
Speaking on the Sach Sang Show Nick revealed that his first visit to India left a lasting impression on him. Spending time with Priyanka’s family and immersing himself in Indian customs made him feel deeply connected to the country. He said that many of his most cherished traditions and celebrations today are Indian and some of his happiest memories are closely tied to India and its people.
Nick also spoke at length about Hinduism and how learning about its philosophy has been a meaningful journey for him. He described concepts such as karma and dharma as powerful and beautiful noting that these teachings emphasise kindness responsibility and balance in life. According to Nick these values are something he and Priyanka want their daughter to understand from an early age.
He shared that Malti is being raised with strong Hindu values alongside respect for multiple faiths making their household culturally rich and inclusive. Nick added that he feels grateful to be part of a family where different religions and traditions coexist harmoniously. He also acknowledged that while faith has always been important to him it has naturally evolved over time since his childhood when religion was shaped by his father’s role as a preacher.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra married in December 2018 in a lavish ceremony that blended Hindu and Christian rituals. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2022 via surrogacy and often celebrate Indian festivals together including Diwali Holi and Karwa Chauth sharing glimpses of these moments with fans.
On the professional front Nick recently returned with new music releasing his solo album Sunday Best his first in five years. The project debuted with the single Gut Punch and was followed by a deluxe edition launched in February 2026 featuring additional tracks and a live version of the song.
