Fresh leaks suggest that Nothing is gearing up to launch its next mid-range smartphones with largely similar internal hardware. The Nothing Phone 4a series which includes the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro is expected to debut in early March and new reports hint that both models may share the same battery chipset and core camera hardware while differing in design elements and premium features.
According to recent leaks the Nothing Phone 4a is expected to feature a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 1.5K resolution. The screen is said to come with slim bezels continuing the brand’s minimal and clean design language. Powering the device could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor which is likely to be used across both the standard and Pro variants.
In terms of performance the handset may be offered in multiple configurations including up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Out of the box the Phone 4a is expected to run Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16 bringing the latest software features and refinements.
Camera specifications are also said to be largely similar between the two models. The Nothing Phone 4a could sport a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation. Reports suggest the phone may also include an ultra-wide lens along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering up to 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies a 32-megapixel front camera is expected.
Battery life appears to be another shared highlight. Both the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro are tipped to pack a sizable 5,400mAh battery with support for 50W fast wired charging. While wireless charging has not been confirmed the devices are expected to offer IP65-rated dust and splash resistance.
Design-wise the two models may differ in Glyph interface customisation and finish options. The Phone 4a is expected to arrive in multiple colours including Black Blue Pink and White. Pricing leaks suggest the Phone 4a could be positioned around the mid-premium segment while the Pro variant may carry a slightly higher price tag.
