The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R are set to make their global debut, including in India, on January 7. Ahead of the highly anticipated launch, OnePlus has showcased the official magnetic protective cases for these upcoming smartphones. These cases are designed to support magnetic wireless charging and provide premium protection.
The flagship OnePlus 13 was initially introduced in China in October 2024, while the OnePlus 13R is believed to be a global rebranding of the OnePlus Ace 5, which was launched in China on December 26.
OnePlus Ireland has listed the global versions of both phones along with details of the official case options. Both models will feature a Sandstone Magnetic case, expected to have a sandpaper-like textured finish for better grip. Additionally, the OnePlus 13 will have two exclusive case options: the Wood Grain Magnetic Half-pack, which mimics a wooden design, and the Aramid Fiber Magnetic case, known for its durability and sleek profile.
The Indian variants of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The OnePlus 13 boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance against water and dust. Both phones will come with robust 6,000mAh batteries, AI-enhanced photo editing capabilities, and smart note-taking features.
In terms of aesthetics, the OnePlus 13 will be available in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean color options, while the OnePlus 13R will be offered in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir shades. These devices will be available for purchase in India through Amazon and the official OnePlus India website.
