The next-generation flagship smartphone from OnePlus is reportedly set to launch later this year, and fresh leaks have now given us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming OnePlus 15. While the official reveal is still months away, leaked specifications and design details suggest a significant upgrade in both aesthetics and performance.
According to industry insider Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15 is expected to come equipped with Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, previously codenamed SM8850. Although the leak didn’t mention the device by name, strong speculation points to the OnePlus 15 as the likely candidate.
Design-wise, OnePlus appears to be making a bold change with a new square-shaped rear camera module — a departure from the layout seen on the OnePlus 13. The back panel will feature a triple camera system, reportedly led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and including a periscope lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
On the front, users can expect a flat 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The brand is also said to incorporate LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology to reduce bezel thickness, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience.
Battery capacity is tipped to exceed 7,000mAh, making it one of the largest in its category, and the phone is expected to support blazing-fast 100W SuperVOOC wired charging. With these power-packed features, the OnePlus 15 could set a new benchmark in battery performance for Android flagship smartphones.
If rumors are accurate, the OnePlus 15 could be officially introduced in China around October 2025, followed by a global release in January 2026. The phone is shaping up to be a worthy successor to the OnePlus 13, which was launched in India earlier this year at a price of ₹69,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant.
Previous OnePlus flagship phones like the OnePlus 13 featured high-end specs, including a 6.82-inch ProXDR display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera system. The OnePlus 15 is expected to take things a step further with design enhancements, upgraded internals, and industry-leading charging speeds.
