The OnePlus Ace 6, expected to debut globally as the OnePlus 15R, is gearing up for launch with impressive specifications and features. Scheduled to be unveiled in China on October 27 at 7 pm local time, the device is set to be introduced alongside the flagship OnePlus 15. Pre-reservations are already live in China on platforms like Oppo e-Shop and JD Mall, allowing customers to secure the phone with early-bird benefits.
Weighing 213 grams, the OnePlus 15R promises a premium design with a metal frame and IP66 IP68 IP69 IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone will be offered in three colours — Black, Flash White, and Quicksilver — and features a vertically aligned ACE branding and a redesigned top-left camera module. The device will also include openings on the top frame for microphones and an IR blaster.
Display-wise, the OnePlus 15R boasts a flat AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate up to 165Hz, supporting 60 90 120 144 and 165Hz modes. A 1.5K OLED panel from BOE Display is expected, along with in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanning and eye-protection features.
Powering the handset is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and running Android 16-based ColorOS 16 in China. Benchmark tests show a single-core score of 3,050 and a multi-core score of 9,440.
Battery performance is a key highlight with a massive 7,800mAh capacity and 120W wired fast charging. Wireless charging support is not confirmed for this model.
