The upcoming OnePlus 15T is generating significant buzz ahead of its official launch in China. The device will reportedly join the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R lineup as a compact flagship designed for users who prefer powerful hardware in a smaller form factor. Although the company has not yet announced an exact launch date, several specifications have surfaced through leaks and official teasers.

According to well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the smartphone could feature a 1.5K resolution display with an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. If this claim proves accurate, the OnePlus 15T could become one of the few compact flagship smartphones offering such a high refresh rate panel. The enhanced display technology is expected to deliver smoother animations and faster responsiveness, especially during gaming.

The leak suggests that the phone may support gaming at up to 165 frames per second (fps) in several competitive titles. Games reportedly capable of reaching this frame rate include PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, CrossFire: Legends, Arena Breakout, Naruto Mobile, QQ Speed, and New Legend of the Condor Heroes. Other popular games such as Honor of Kings and Valorant Mobile (currently in testing) may run at up to 144fps. In comparison, most competing flagship devices are limited to either 120fps or 144fps.

Additional details were confirmed by Louis Li Jie, President of OnePlus in China. He described the OnePlus 15T as a performance-focused compact flagship built for users who want top-tier specifications without the bulk of larger smartphones. The device is confirmed to feature a 6.32-inch flat display with extremely narrow bezels on all four sides, which should enhance the phone’s front design and viewing experience.

Battery performance is also expected to be a key highlight. The smartphone will reportedly include a 7,500mAh “glacier battery,” making it one of the largest batteries ever used in a compact flagship device. The phone will support 100W Super Flash Charging, allowing for rapid charging speeds, along with bypass charging, which helps reduce heat during gaming sessions.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 15T will reportedly feature an upgraded LUMO periscope telephoto lens, designed to deliver improved zoom capabilities while keeping the camera bump relatively compact. The handset is also confirmed to offer a highly durable build with IP66 IP68 IP69 and IP69K ratings, providing strong resistance against dust and water.

Other premium features include 50W wireless charging, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster and more accurate unlocking, and support for a magnetic accessory ecosystem. This ecosystem could include compatible wireless chargers magnetic cases and external cooling fans aimed at improving gaming performance.

The company is also expected to reveal the official design of the OnePlus 15T soon, which may provide further insight into its appearance and additional hardware upgrades.
