Oppo is gearing up to expand its A-series smartphone lineup with the unannounced Oppo A6 4G and Oppo A6x, hinting at an imminent launch in Asia. The Oppo A6 4G has appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification website under model number CPH2817, confirming support for GSM WCDMA and LTE networks. Meanwhile, the Oppo A6x with model number CPH2819 has been listed on Malaysia’s SIRIM database, signaling a near release for the regional market.

The recently launched Oppo A6 5G in China runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, features a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging, and a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is equipped with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, along with a 16-megapixel front camera. The device also carries IP69 dust and water resistance certification.

The Oppo A6x is expected to succeed the Oppo A5x, which debuted in India with a 6.67-inch display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, dual rear cameras led by a 32-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. With these certifications surfacing, the launch of Oppo A6 4G and Oppo A6x appears imminent, further strengthening Oppo’s presence in the mid-range smartphone segment across Asia.
