The Oppo A80 5G is making headlines with leaked information about its European pricing and design, suggesting it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The device is rumored to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the leaks, the Oppo A80 5G will come with a 5,100mAh battery and support 45W charging.
The phone is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera and run on ColorOS 14.0.1 based on Android 14. Leaked renders show the Oppo A80 5G in a purple color with dual rear cameras arranged vertically and an LED ring. The front display has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. It bears a strong resemblance to the China-exclusive Oppo A3 Vitality Edition.
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, in collaboration with 91Mobiles, revealed that the Oppo A80 5G might be priced at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 22,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
The Oppo A80 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The device is rumored to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Additional features may include AI Eraser and AI LinkBoost, which are common in recent Oppo models.
