Oppo Find X8 series, set to launch soon in China, is creating buzz with its anticipated base, Pro, and Ultra variants. Recent online leaks have provided insights into these devices, and now, an official teaser has revealed the display design of the Oppo Find X8 Pro, along with key features of the base model. These upcoming smartphones are also expected to include advanced AI-powered reflection removal tools for photo editing.
Display and Features:
Oppo Find series product head Zhao Yibao shared a teaser on Weibo, showcasing the Oppo Find X8 Pro’s display. The device features a flat screen with extremely slim and uniform bezels, and a centrally placed hole-punch cutout for the front camera. This design mirrors the previously teased front panel of the Oppo Find X8. Earlier reports indicated that the Find X8 Pro would feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
In another post, Yibao highlighted that the base Oppo Find X8 will be slimmer and lighter than the Oppo Find X7, with a reduced rear camera bulge. It will boast IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The standard version will support 50W wireless charging and reverse charging and will include an alert slider, an infrared sensor, and NFC connectivity. The base model will run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and will come in a light pink color option.
Additionally, the Oppo Find X8 series will feature AI-enhanced photo editing capabilities, including a reflection remover tool, similar to the reflection and shadow eraser introduced in the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup.
