Oppo is preparing to introduce the Find X8s and Find X8+, the latest additions to its Find X8 series, with significant hardware upgrades. According to leaks, both smartphones will be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor and will feature larger battery capacities along with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. These devices are expected to debut following the announcement of MediaTek’s next-generation chipset.
Oppo Find X8s and Find X8+ Expected Specifications
Industry insider Digital Chat Station shared key specifications of the Oppo Find X8s and Find X8+ on Weibo. According to reports, the Find X8s will sport a 6.3-inch display, while the Find X8+ will have a 6.59-inch screen, offering users a larger viewing experience.
Both devices will reportedly be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is expected to launch at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC) next month. With Oppo among the first brands to incorporate this chip, the Find X8s series could deliver notable performance improvements over previous models.
Design and Battery Enhancements
Earlier leaks suggest that the Oppo Find X8s will have a slim design, measuring less than 8.15mm in thickness and weighing under 187g. Both the Find X8s and Find X8+ are expected to house larger batteries, with capacities exceeding 5,700mAh, ensuring extended usage.
These devices will also feature an under-display optical fingerprint scanner for secure authentication and are said to come with an IP69 rating, providing high-level protection against dust and water ingress.
Camera and Additional Features
Leaks indicate that both Find X8s and Find X8+ will be equipped with a periscope telephoto camera, enabling enhanced zoom capabilities. While further details about the camera setup are yet to surface, this feature suggests improvements in mobile photography.
Oppo is expected to introduce these smartphones in April, possibly alongside the Find X8 Mini and Find X8 Ultra, as part of its continued expansion of the Find X8 series. The previous Find X8 lineup, launched last year, featured Dimensity 9400 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. With these upgrades, the Find X8s series is set to be a competitive option in the premium smartphone market.
