The highly anticipated Oppo Find X9 Ultra is likely to make its debut later this year, offering significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. According to recent leaks, the new flagship might come with an optional Hasselblad-powered external photography kit, potentially setting a new benchmark in mobile imaging. This move follows Oppo’s extended partnership with Hasselblad, focusing on next-generation mobile camera technology.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra featured an impressive array of five rear cameras, including two telephoto lenses, and the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to enhance that legacy. It may be equipped with a quad rear camera setup that includes two 200-megapixel main sensors and two 50-megapixel periscope cameras with adjustable focal lengths. These cameras are designed to elevate zoom and clarity for professional-level photography directly from a smartphone.

A reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, has hinted that the Find X9 series could support Hasselblad-branded external imaging accessories, possibly similar to what competitors like Vivo and Xiaomi have introduced. The Vivo X200 Ultra launched with Zeiss-backed lenses while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra offered a Leica-supported photography kit—Oppo appears to be following a similar path.

Another major innovation in the pipeline is Oppo’s proprietary magnetic wireless charging technology, reportedly inspired by Apple’s MagSafe. This new charging solution could feature a 0.2mm magnetic ring on the back panel and support 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, offering efficient and fast charging without compromising design.

The Find X9 Ultra is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and may feature a flat 1.5K display panel, offering an immersive visual experience. While there is no official launch date yet, these leaks suggest that Oppo is gearing up to deliver a feature-rich smartphone aimed at photography enthusiasts and power users alike.
