The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is reportedly set to arrive with a major battery upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Find X8 Ultra. According to a tipster, the upcoming flagship will feature a dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 7,000mAh, arranged as two 3,425mAh cells. This enhancement aims to provide extended usage time while maintaining a slim and premium design.
Expected to debut later this year alongside the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, the Find X9 Ultra is also said to include a quad rear camera setup. Rumors suggest the camera system could include two 200MP sensors and two 50MP dual-periscope lenses with adjustable focal lengths, with the primary lens possibly offering 3x optical zoom thanks to its 1/1.3-inch sensor.
The leak claims the device will continue to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging — the same speeds found on the Find X8 Ultra — while potentially retaining reverse wireless charging capabilities. In comparison, last year’s Find X8 Ultra housed a 6,100mAh battery with identical charging speeds and featured a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system with four 50MP sensors, plus a 32MP front camera.
Under the hood, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, codenamed SM8850. Display-wise, it may adopt a flat panel design similar to its predecessor.
While Oppo has not officially confirmed the launch date, industry insiders predict that the Find X9 Ultra will be positioned as one of the most advanced flagship smartphones of 2025, offering a blend of long-lasting power, cutting-edge performance, and versatile photography capabilities.
