Oppo K12 Plus Unveiled with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Chipset and Massive 6,400mAh Battery: Details and Pricing

Oppo has introduced the K12 Plus in China, featuring the advanced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The new smartphone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 512GB. Running on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, it is powered by a 6,400mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

The Oppo K12 Plus boasts a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. Additionally, it is equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is designed for durability with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Oppo K12 Plus Pricing and Availability

The base model of the Oppo K12 Plus, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 22,600). The variants with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage are available for CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 25,000) and CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 29,800) respectively. Customers can choose between Basalt Black and Snow Peak White color options.

Pre-orders are currently open, and the official sale will commence on October 15. There is also a promotional offer that reduces the price of the 256GB models by CNY 100 (approximately Rs. 1,200).

Oppo K12 Plus Specifications and Features

The Oppo K12 Plus supports dual SIM (Nano+Nano) and operates on Android 14-based ColorOS 14. It sports a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,412 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor powers the device, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX882, f/1.8) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor (IMX355, f/2.2). For selfies, a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture is provided.

Storage options go up to 512GB, and users can expand it further to 1TB via a MicroSD card. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC. The phone also has several sensors, including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and e-compass.

The 6,400mAh battery supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared transmitter for controlling home appliances, an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, and the phone’s dimensions are 162.5×75.3×8.37mm with a weight of 192g.
