Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo K13x 5G in India, marking the next addition to its K-series lineup. Officially confirmed by the brand through a press release, the new smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart and is expected to offer a compelling mix of performance, battery life, and AI-driven camera features.
The Oppo K13x 5G will serve as the direct successor to the Oppo K12x 5G, which debuted in July last year. Positioned in the mid-range smartphone segment, the upcoming handset is speculated to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and come equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging for all-day usage and rapid recharging.
This upcoming model will also join the Oppo K13 5G that was released earlier in April, extending the K13 lineup in India. Oppo highlights that the K13x 5G will feature a durable design, fast charging capabilities, and intelligent AI-powered camera functionalities aimed at delivering enhanced photography experiences.
According to leaks, the Oppo K13x 5G may sport a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it is likely to house an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to maintain the IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance seen in its predecessor.
The previous model, Oppo K12x 5G, featured a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the same Dimensity 6300 chip. It was available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It came with a 5100mAh battery and also supported 45W fast charging.
As for the new Oppo K13x 5G, customers will be able to purchase it not only on Flipkart but also via Oppo India’s online and offline retail stores. The smartphone is expected to launch very soon, with more details such as price and availability to be revealed shortly.
