Oppo has officially confirmed the India debut of the Oppo K14 5G marking the expansion of its new K series lineup. The smartphone will be unveiled on March 9 at 12pm IST and will be available for purchase through Flipkart as well as the brand’s official online store.
The upcoming handset is positioned as the second device in the K14 series following the launch of Oppo K14x 5G. A live microsite has already revealed key details including colour options design elements and battery specifications. The Oppo K14 5G will arrive in Purple and White finishes featuring a crystal inspired rear panel design.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is its massive 7000mAh battery which is expected to deliver extended usage for heavy users. The phone will also support 45W wired fast charging allowing quicker power top ups. Oppo has confirmed that the device will run on ColorOS although the exact Android version has not yet been specified.
In terms of design the Oppo K14 5G showcases a square shaped camera module housing a dual rear camera system along with an LED flash. The rear panel carries Oppo branding at the bottom left while the handset appears to feature a flat frame with curved edges for better grip. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side whereas the SIM tray is positioned on the left.
The launch follows the recent introduction of the Oppo K14x 5G in India which debuted with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset a large battery and a high refresh rate display in the budget segment. With the K14 5G Oppo is expected to further strengthen its presence in the competitive mid range 5G smartphone market in India.
More specifications including pricing processor details and camera capabilities are likely to be revealed at the official launch event on March 9.
