Oppo has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming limited edition smartphone — the Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Edition — scheduled to debut in Mexico on November 15, 2025. This special release celebrates the Star Wars franchise with unique design touches and exclusive themed accessories, making it a collector’s delight for fans of both technology and the iconic movie saga.
The Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Edition will arrive in a black color variant featuring a striking Darth Vader graphic on the rear panel. The limited package will include a custom collector’s box, a Star Wars-themed SIM ejector tool, and a Death Star II phone stand, each unit carrying its own unique collection code to enhance its exclusivity.
According to Oppo’s official announcement on X (formerly Twitter), a dedicated microsite has also gone live on the Oppo Mexico website, offering a closer look at the phone’s sleek design and packaging. While the company has yet to reveal its pricing, it’s expected to be slightly higher than the standard Oppo Reno 14F 5G, which was initially launched in June 2025 with a price of around NTD 14,300 (approx. Rs. 41,800) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
In terms of specifications, the new edition is expected to maintain the same hardware setup as the standard Reno 14F 5G. The phone features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with Adreno A710 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The smartphone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. Camera performance remains a highlight, with a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro lens, complemented by a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
While Oppo has not disclosed availability details for other markets, fans can expect this Star Wars Edition to be a limited-run release, shipping exclusively in Mexico at first. The combination of premium design, powerful specifications, and exclusive Star Wars elements makes the Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Edition one of the most distinctive smartphone launches this season.
