The Oppo Reno 15 series is expected to launch in India soon, and fresh leaks suggest the lineup could be bigger than initially revealed. While Oppo has officially teased the Reno 15 Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini, a new report hints at a fourth smartphone called the Oppo Reno 15C aimed at offering powerful battery performance at a competitive price.
According to a well-known tipster, the Oppo Reno 15C may debut alongside the other models and could be priced under Rs 40,000 in India. Interestingly, Oppo recently launched a Reno 15C in China, but the leaked specifications for the Indian version appear to be quite different, indicating a region-specific variant.
The India-bound Oppo Reno 15C is tipped to feature a 6.57-inch Full HD LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of high brightness mode. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
For photography, the device may offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel main sensor an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it could sport a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera for video calls and content creation.
The biggest highlight is said to be its large 7,000mAh battery supported by 80W fast charging. The phone is also rumored to measure around 8.14mm in thickness and weigh between 189g and 195g.
In comparison, the Chinese Oppo Reno 15C features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and a 6,500mAh battery, making the leaked Indian specifications notably different. Due to these inconsistencies, the information should be treated as unofficial until Oppo makes an official announcement.
