Oppo is preparing to introduce its next-generation Reno lineup in China, with the Reno 15 series reportedly set to launch on November 17. The series is said to include three smartphones this time: the standard Oppo Reno 15, a more powerful Reno 15 Pro, and a compact Reno 15 Mini model. The launch is rumoured to align with the brand’s Double Eleven festival celebrations, making it one of Oppo’s key product reveals before the end of the year.
A leaked promotional image circulating online suggests that the announcement could take place at 7pm local time in China. However, the poster has not been confirmed by Oppo’s official social media channels, meaning the reported launch date still remains unverified. Even so, the Reno 15 lineup is widely expected to be unveiled very soon, as its predecessor completed its release cycle earlier this year.
Reports indicate that the Reno 15 family may share several premium characteristics including a metal frame and IP68 + IP69 certification, which would make the devices resistant to water, dust and challenging environments. Display sizes are expected to differ across the lineup, with the Reno 15 Mini featuring a 6.32-inch flat screen, the Reno 15 at around 6.59 inches, and the Reno 15 Pro using a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel for an enhanced viewing experience.
Camera upgrades appear to be a major focus this generation. The Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Mini variants are said to offer triple camera setups with a 200 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 primary sensor paired with 50 megapixel ultrawide and 50 megapixel periscope lenses. All three models may also feature 50 megapixel front cameras for improved selfies and video calls.
Performance improvements are also expected, with the Reno 15 Pro tipped to debut the Dimensity 9400 chipset instead of the previously rumoured Dimensity 8450. Battery capacity on the Pro model could reach 6,500mAh with support for 50W wireless charging, providing a balance of power efficiency and convenience. Following the China launch, the series is anticipated to arrive in India sometime in December.
