Oppo has officially confirmed the India launch of its next-generation Reno smartphones, with the Oppo Reno 15 series arriving on January 8, 2026. The new lineup expands Oppo’s premium mid-range portfolio and includes three models: Oppo Reno 15 5G, Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G. The company is placing a strong focus on advanced photography, videography, and premium design, positioning the Reno 15 series as a camera-centric smartphone range for Indian consumers.
All three smartphones will feature a refined design built using an aerospace-grade aluminium frame enhanced with Oppo’s HoloFusion Technology. The devices are also confirmed to come with high durability standards, offering IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Oppo has highlighted that the Reno 15 series is designed to deliver a flagship-level experience while maintaining the brand’s signature sleek and lightweight form factor.
In terms of imaging, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G will be equipped with a powerful 200-megapixel primary rear camera, paired with a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto portrait lens and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera offering a 100-degree field of view. The telephoto lens supports 3.5x optical zoom, enabling detailed portrait shots and long-range photography. Oppo has also introduced group photo enhancement features and intelligent tone-balancing technology that dynamically adjusts lighting and colours based on environmental conditions.
The Reno 15 series introduces AI Editor 3.0, bringing tools such as AI Portrait Glow, motion photo editing, and enhanced image correction. For video creators, the Pro models will support 4K HDR video recording at up to 60fps across all cameras, including front, main, ultra-wide, and telephoto sensors. Additional video features include electronic image stabilisation, optical image stabilisation on select lenses, dual-view video recording, and the ability to capture high-resolution photos while recording video.
The standard Oppo Reno 15 5G will offer a slightly toned-down but still competitive camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the rear. On the front, it will house a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera, ensuring high-quality photos and video calls.
Display technology is another highlight of the lineup. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini is expected to feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 93.35 percent screen-to-body ratio, while the Reno 15 Pro may sport a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. The standard Reno 15 is likely to come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen. All models are expected to offer full-HD+ resolution, with the Pro variants delivering higher peak brightness levels for improved outdoor visibility.
On the performance front, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. It is expected to pack a large 6,200mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, ensuring long usage hours and quick top-ups. The device may weigh around 187 grams, maintaining a balance between battery capacity and portability. Storage and colour options are expected to vary across the lineup and will be confirmed at launch.
While Oppo has not officially announced pricing, leaks suggest that the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini could be priced at around Rs. 64,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with the effective retail price possibly dropping to approximately Rs. 59,999 after bank offers and launch discounts. The Reno 15 series will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Amazon, and the Oppo India online store shortly after launch.
