The upcoming Poco X8 Pro series is generating significant excitement ahead of its official unveiling. According to recent reports the new smartphones from Poco could make their global debut in mid-March. The lineup is expected to include the Poco X8 Pro Max alongside the standard Pro model and will succeed the previously released Poco X7 Pro 5G.
Industry sources suggest that the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max may launch globally on March 17 in selected markets. While the company has not officially confirmed the exact launch date yet an announcement is expected soon. The anticipated timeline aligns with earlier leaks which indicated that the devices would arrive sometime in the third week of March.
The company has already started teasing the Poco X8 series launch in India through a dedicated microsite. The page hints at some of the design elements and features that the upcoming devices could offer. The smartphones are expected to feature a dual rear camera setup positioned within a pill shaped camera module. The design preview also suggests a flat back panel along with a flat frame giving the device a modern premium look.
Under the hood the new Poco X series smartphones are confirmed to be powered by the latest chipsets from MediaTek. The Poco X8 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor while the Poco X8 Pro Max could feature the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. These processors are designed to deliver improved performance better efficiency and enhanced gaming capabilities.
Pricing details for the devices have also surfaced online after both models were briefly listed on the Xiaomi Belgium website. The Poco X8 Pro Max could reportedly start at around EUR 529 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant while the higher 12GB and 512GB configuration might cost about EUR 579.
Meanwhile the Poco X8 Pro is expected to arrive at a more affordable starting price of approximately EUR 399 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The top configuration featuring 12GB RAM and 512GB storage could be priced close to EUR 479. Both smartphones are likely to be available in several colour options including black white and green.
Once launched the Poco X8 Pro series is expected to be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. With powerful chipsets modern design and competitive pricing the new lineup could attract buyers looking for a performance focused smartphone in the mid premium segment.
