Chinese smartphone brand Realme has officially introduced the new Realme C83 5G in India, expanding its popular C-series lineup. The smartphone comes with a large 7000mAh Titan battery, a 144Hz refresh rate display and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The device will be available for purchase through Flipkart and the official Realme online store starting March 7 at 12 PM IST.
The entry-level variant of the Realme C83 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 13,499. The second option with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 14,499, while the top model featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is available for Rs 17,499. Buyers can also take advantage of up to six months of no-cost EMI offers during the purchase.
The smartphone is offered in two colour options called Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green. With its combination of large battery capacity and smooth display performance, the handset is positioned as a strong budget 5G option for everyday users.
Running on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, the Realme C83 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1570 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and peak brightness of up to 900 nits, delivering smoother scrolling and gaming performance.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor built on a 6nm architecture. The chipset is paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, enabling decent multitasking and everyday performance for budget users.
In terms of cameras, the Realme C83 5G includes a single 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the phone features a 5-megapixel front camera. Both cameras support video recording at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.
One of the standout features of the device is its massive 7000mAh Titan battery which aims to deliver extended usage for gaming streaming and daily tasks. The smartphone supports 15W wired charging via a USB Type-C port.
Connectivity features include 5G support 4G LTE GPS GLONASS Galileo BeiDou and QZSS navigation systems along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset also includes sensors such as a proximity sensor ambient light sensor accelerometer and electronic compass.
The Realme C83 5G measures 166.3 × 78.1 × 8.4 mm and weighs around 212 grams making it slightly heavier due to its large battery capacity.
